Welcome by the Festival Director

Welcome to “Hungarissimo,” the celebration of the Days of Hungarian Culture in Albania!

“Hungarissimo” is now an internationally recognized brand, with important events organized earlier in Hungary and Albania. But now, for the first time, it comes within a new dimension: bigger, more innovative, and with a fantastic bouquet of events and participants. The program that we are presenting this year is unique in terms of its variety. “Hungarissimo” will bring in Albania world renowned artists and authors, as much as new successful artists, for some unforgettable intercultural performances.

Tirana has been selected as the European Youth Capital and this year’s activities in the city are focused on youth engagement. Therefore, “Hungarissimo” will be aimed specifically towards these demographic groups, with targeted programs and activities. With the goal of engaging youth and increasing their participation, our programs will help young artists develop their skills and expand their knowledge, as they will be participating in activities in the fields of art, culture, education, and youth activism.

An added feature in this edition is the expansion of the Festival beyond Tirana, by also including Fieri and Korça, two of the most important Albanian cities in terms of cultural development. Together, we will be not only experiencing the beautiful activities envisioned specifically for them, but also the emotions of celebrating some of the famous artists and institutions that left a mark in the history of Albanian art.

While we are counting the days until the beginning of the activities, we invite you to mark your calendars about this event, which is not to be missed. Diverse masterclasses, the extraordinary Kodály conference, artificial intelligence art, the unique combination of jazz and chess, and many more activities will be coming to Albania for the first time ever!

Lastly, I would like to express my gratitude to all those that will make possible this memorable event – all the friends and supporters of the Festival, in Albania and beyond!
