“Hungarissimo” is a festival that seems to bring Albania and Hungary together through art and culture, nourish understanding between the two nations, promote cultural exchanges and build bridges of cooperation for young and established artists.
The Festival promotes Albanian and Hungarian culture, and access into contemporary creativity, leveraging the opportunities and increasing engagement between Albania and Hungary – both in terms of diplomatic ties, as well as in people to people relations. Within these opportunities, it is worth highlighting the field of music, visual and performing arts, innovation, culinary, as well as literature and nonfiction writing. This year marks the 100-year anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Albania and Hungary and the Festival will celebrate this historical milestone accordingly.
“Hungarissimo” comes within the framework of the international cultural weeks organized by the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania in partnership with the Ministry of Culture. At the same time, the event is organized in cooperation with the Embassy of Hungary in Tirana.
